Despite the fact that I was recently beginning to think Facebook may be doing some new and semi-useful and meaningful interactions through their site. I have been convinced back to my old belief, which is that Facebook in many ways is still just a more usable mySpace. Allow me to show you exhibit A.
I’ll keep it short. This guy, was amongst a group of really cruel, bad times, gangsta wannabe (his idol of choice was Eminem), violent, bunch of sad individuals. I am not even going to go into the kind of stupid things they used to do.
I once interfered with one of their cruel acts - and said some things that “offended” this person in particular.
About a week later I was walking to a buddies house in the middle of the night on Burrard street, drunk. This kid ran up behind me, clocked me on the back of the head with a little pipe…. and then took me down. Then the rest of his awesome friends joined him and they did quite a number on my face… with their feet.
That’s about the short of it… and THEN today I get a friend invite from him… the same day the dentist rips out all my wisdom teeth. So that’s kind of funny. Anyways, my reply:
Mind boggling.

UPDATE: He eventually got back to me and apologized. I guess you can change in 6 years, I hope he has.
